Last month I got to meet one of the sweetest little, almost one year old, Valentine boys around! There’s something fun and special about holiday birthdays. Everyone in my house has a birthday within 11 days of big holidays.

Everyone meet Tucker! He turns ONE today! This was his first session with me and he started out a little bashful but after me singing some rounds of wheels on the bus he warmed up and I caught some smiles!

Cousins Valentine Sesh

I have always heard and read quotes that cousins are our first best friend! I 100% agree. Cousins hold secrets and are the only ones who understand your quirky family.

Look at these sweet cousins! Quinn & Blake! Blake lights up when he sees Quinn and she loves him so much too!! I have been photographing the King/Hunter/Small Families since Quinn was around 3’ish for extended family, maternity and newborn sessions. All of them are so fun and sweet to work with.

I know that with the sister bond their mommies have, Quinn & Blake will stay the best of friends forever.

Sparkles & Love with Mom

It’s Valentine Week & the perfect time to share more of the Mom & Me Valentine sesh with Julie & Remi.  

It was great to finally meet Julie in person.  I have followed her work for a while on social media.  Julie is the COO for WV Free, https://www.wvfree.org, advocating and lobbying for the betterment of West Virginians.  Remi was the funnest little girl to photograph and she loved the glitter part of their session.  Both were just as nice as I thought they’d be. 

They had adorable matching shirts that spelled out L-O-V-E and showed a sassy side with fun heart glasses and threw some glitter together and then we did a glitter session with Remi by herself.  I think they both had the best time!

The Funniest Valentine

Scout is the funniest Valentine I have had in a while. I have been photographing Scout since he was 11 days old, actually even when in-utero if you want to get technical about it. Scouts momma was one of my “Belly to Baby” clients.

His last session with me was a confetti mini right before the pandemic began and he was so nervous and didn’t get as into it as his mom & I thought he would, but he totally made up for that with his Valentine Mini a couple weeks ago! Totally broke outta his shell! His Mom, Dad & I were laughing so hard at him the whole time. I see a class clown senior superlative in his future!

Happy Valentines Day!!  I hope everyone has a wonderful day.  The day doesn’t have to be celebrated with a spouse, bg/gf, etc.  You can celebrate the day just by offering a smile to someone, paying it forward, or spreading kindness.

Do you still need a gift for your sweetheart???  I love flowers, candy and yummy food as much as the next girl, but ya know what I am treasuring most lately?  Pictures I have with my husband from our fall session!  While we snap quick pics here and there occasionally, having professional portraits is so important.  Not just for decor in our home, but someday our kids are going to appreciate having photos of their parents together.

Guys!  Get your girls a couples mini photo session!! Girls schedule it and tell him you have your gift taken care of!

I am offering couples mini sessions on Saturday February 23rd from 3-5 in the afternoon.   The investment is $95 with a $35 retainer due at the time of booking and the remaining $60 due at the session.  Your session will include a 15 minute outdoor session and the downloadable edited images with a print release.  To schedule please text/call 304-638-5275 or email agreerphotography@yahoo.com.

“My boyfriend and I were temporarily living in West Virginia and I wanted to get pictures taken so we could send out Christmas cards. My sister had previously used Amanda to take my niece’s pictures and a few of or whole family and they turned out so beautiful and my niece looked so angelic. So we went ahead with Amanda for our couples pictures. We’d never had professional pictures together before, and Amanda made us feel super comfortable. On top of that, she did a great job capturing our relationship. We love to laugh and have fun with each other and that really came out in all the pictures. She gave us some general direction which helped, but also knew how to get us to just be ourselves and snapped the perfect shots without us even noticing. Even though it was freezing outside and we worked fast, we ended up with so many great pictures…too many pictures to decide on, so we ended up with all of them from our session.”  – Callie

I am smitten with my Valentine backdrop this year!  It’s just too cute with the pretty blue sky and red heart balloons!   Sweet Miss Lilah came in the studio to model the set for you.  I have an adorable little red chair, heart shaped glasses for each kiddo to keep after their session and a cute “love” balloon that you don’t see pictured because it was a little big for this sweet girl to hold.

Valentine Mini’s will be January 25th and 26th.  Sessions are 10-15 minutes & have packages ranging from $30-$75.  I’m also offering sweet Valentines to hand out to your friends in class or mail to family.
