Itty Bitty Charlie Mae

Ever since I started offering Macro images with my newborn sessions Jenn has loved them and wanted them for her little ones but between a quick growing little boy she wasn’t able to get them of Henry and then a world wide pandemic we were a little late getting Charlie Maes macros.

I told Jenn I wanted to blog her session and asked her if she would send me her why and thoughts on the session…

“I wanted to do these detail pics from the first time I saw you post them of your newborn sessions. Of course Charlies couldn’t have any itty bitty baby pics because she was born in the middle of a pandemic and mandatory shut down and quarantine. Fast forward to her being almost 10 months old, I wanted to capture her little features so I could remember them forever! They are so perfect in every way. You captured all of her expressions. Her tiny little hands and feet. Her big blue eyes. Her 5 little teeth. Bald Head. Little baby cheeks. Although I really wanted to capture newborn littleness. It’s just as special if not more now that she has her little personality behind those details. Everything about her life has been different that what I had planned. But in a way, so much more special.” ~ Jenn

Little Miss Kori Quinn

Last week the teeniest little girl I have had to date came in for her newborn session.  Miss Kori Quinn was added to the Fisher family about 3 weeks ago, surrounded by so much love with her family.  She has two big brothers to grow up with and protect her from boys that will someday break her heart.   I have been photographing her brothers and family for a little over a year, from birthday sessions, family sessions to little league photos they always keep me laughing and on my toes.

I always try to start my session with the sibling poses, esp if the siblings are young because many times they will get bored and lose interest.   I started with the biggest brother Jaxon getting him posed and ready with Kori then we added in Dylan who needed a little convincing (& possibly bribing) to get in the photo.  I have to be patient, yet quick when working with younger siblings and newborns.  After those photos were captured the boys left to run errands with their Daddy.  Once the portraits of just Kori started, Momma fed her, & we got her nice and toasty warm, told her how beautiful she was and she relaxed and was ready to pose.  LOL just like any girl, feed me and tell me I’m pretty.

Jacob and Sierra you have another precious little one!  Thank you for giving me the honor of capturing these memories for you!
